Homeowners in the Quad Cities who could use a little help with repairs should benefit from a new effort.
The organization Rebuilding together announced plans to team up with the Quad City Symphony Orchestra and Saint Ambrose University.
The symphony will play a special benefit concert at Saint Ambrose on Thursday, November 5. It's the first major fundraising effort for Rebuilding Together.
"We think this whole trio of organizations and that is truly a home run for all three because it does do one thing that's better the quality of life for a lot of homeowners in the quad cities" says ron jennings of rebuilding together.
Rebuilding Together works with low income and elderly homeowners to make basic repairs. Their goal is to make $15,000 from the concert.
