One person is dead tonight after an accident on Highway 67 that closed the road for hours.
It happened just after 7pm Saturday north of Le Claire when a van and truck collided head on. The driver of the truck was heading north bound - when it slammed head on with the van. The driver of the van died at the scene - the truck driver was airlifted to the hospital.
Neither of their names have been released at this time. The Scott County sheriff's department reopened the road around 9:30pm Saturday.
