DAVENPORT, Iowa -
The remains of a Davenport man who has been missing for more than two years, have been found.
Richard Ashbacher's mother reported him missing in May of 2007, a couple months after he moved to Texas. Friday, his remains were found by some boys playing in a wooded area in San Antonio.
The former Air Force Academy student was working as a waiter in a restaurant at the time of his death. Medical examiners today say the cause of death remains under investigation.
