Moline bound flight diverted
MOLINE, Illi. -- Nearly one hundred people flying from Florida to the Quad Cities were forced to make an emergency landing.

Some on board the Orlando to Moline flight complained of feeling dizzy. That's when the pilot made an emergency landing in Atlanta and called in medics.

Bob Wehr a passenger from Davenport says, "All I knew is that I didn't feel good. I went to the back where there were three empty seats, laid down there. Then I talked to the stewardess and she said that she wasn't feeling good."

Wayne Frank a passenger from Dubuque, says, "At first they told us it was just a mechanical problem. We land and here's this ambulance blasting it's lights and I thought oh man something else is wrong."

The flight attendant stayed in Atlanta and went to a local hospital for observation. Everyone else boarded a new plane to fly to Moline.

Passengers on AirTran 388 say the crew mentioned there might be something wrong with the air conditioning system, but it still isn't clear what caused some people to feel sick. The passengers finally landed in Moline about three o'clock, over two hours late.
