MT. CARROLL, Illinois—
The Carroll County sheriff's department says two teens died Wednesday, after being trapped in a grain bin at Haasbach, LLC.Alejandro Pacas, 19, and Wyatt Whitebread, 14, both of Mt. Carroll, were pulled from the grain bin between 10pm and 11pm Wednesday. Earlier in the afternoon, emergency crews pulled William Piper, 20, of Mt. Carroll from the bin alive. He was flown to St. Anthony's Hospital in Rockford, Illinois.
All three worked for Haasbach, LLC. They were earning money on summer jobs and working to finance everything from community college tuition to a career repairing musical instruments.
