You can help the animals at the Rock Island County Animal Care and Control center, just by taking an afternoon drive on Saturday
Miles for mutts is a benefit ride that begins at Ducky's in Andulsia, Illinois, travels to Biscuit's Bar and Grill, then to Mulligans in Coal Valley, Illinois and back to Ducky's. The ride begins at 12:30pm, with check in between 10:30am and noon. It costs 10 dollars a person which includes a T-shirt.
After the ride, there will be a car show outside of Ducky's. The East Moline K9 unit will make a presentation, and you can get to know the Rock Island County Sheriff's Deparment bomb dog. There will be a chance to win prizes and 50/50 raffles.
The money raised will go toward the care of the animals at the site.
