We want to send Jim Mertens to co-host "LIVE! with Regis and Kelly." But we need your help.
"LIVE! with Regis and Kelly" is looking for a few good men and women, and they're asking home viewers for their help. "LIVE's" audience is being invited to nominate their favorite local ABC broadcaster from their "LIVE" affiliate to join Regis or Kelly as a guest co-host for a day in August, 2009.
Once the nominations have been narrowed down to 20 semi-finalists, you will be able to vote on the ten broadcasters who will fly to New York to act as guest co-host for a day five with Kelly August 3-7, 2009 and five with Regis August 17-21, 2009.
You also have a chance to win a $500 gift card, just for submitting a nomination!
So lets organize and sent our hometown hero (or broadcaster) out to New York! Every nomination counts, and to submit a nomination, just go to LiveRegisAndKelly.com and click on "CLICK HERE TO NOMINATE A BROADCASTER". After you register to win a $500 gift card, you will be taken to the nomination screen. Then fill out the nomination form with Jim Mertens, station WQAD.
