QUAD CITIES, Iowa/Ill. - After only one year and two flights, Honor Flight of the Quad Cities is going "Back to Back" for it's next trip to Washington D.C.

Thursday, the organization announced it will make two honor flights in October on back to back days. Organizers say the overwhelming response and support makes the two day schedule a more efficient way to work.

The back to back trip will allow for four siblings to make the trip of a lifetime, together. "It's special because the four of us are still alive, we're all getting up there in age, so it's nice to be together" says veteran Jack Moore.

The flights are scheduled for Friday, October 9 and Saturday, October 10. Both flights are already full and the organizers say they have a waiting list of at least 400 applications.
