HENRY COUNTY, Illinois -
A routine traffic stop turned into a meth bust for police in Thursday night in Colona.
The Henry County Sheriff's Department along with the Blackhawk Area Task Force and Zone 1 Meth team were called to Willow Haven Mobile Home Court just east of Interstate 80, after the discovery of a rolling meth lab in the back of a dodge dakota truck. Witnesses say they knew something was going on when investigators searched the truck bed wearing masks.
Investigators found instruments commmonly used to make meth, including funnels, tubing, and propane gas. The suspect was taken to the Henry County Jail.
