The Rock Island County Health Department says it received a portion of its initial order for the H1N1 vaccine (both injectable and nasal spray doses).
It is organizing clinics for specific groups starting Friday October 23.
Pregnant women can call 309-558-2999 to schedule an appointment. Those clinics are scheduled for:
Friday, October 23, from 9am to 4pm
Saturday, October 24, from 9am to 1pm
Monday, October 26, from 9am to 4pm
An additional H1N1 Vaccination clinic will be by appointment only for the CDC targeted priority groups listed below:
That clinic will be held Tuesday October 27, from 7am-6pm at the Rock Island County Health Department at 2112 25th Avenue in Rock Island. Once again you'll need to call 309-558-2999 to schedule an appointment
The Rock Island County Health department says there is no cost for the vaccines. Once again, you need to call the number listed above to schedule an appointment for the vaccine.
