DIXON, Iowa -
One person was taken to the University of Iowa Hospitals Saturday after suffering severe burns from a house fire in a Dixon, Iowa.
Firefighters were called to the home at 5170 306th street just after 3:30pm Saturday afternoon. Members of the Scott County Sheriff's Office, Cedar County Sheriff's Office, Iowa State Patrol, Dixon Fire, New Liberty Fire, Wheatland Fire and Ambulance all responded to the fire.
The fire is considered suspicious and being investigated by the Iowa state fire marshal. The name of the victim has not been released.
