DAVENPORT, Iowa -
Davenport police arrested a Moline man Wednesday in connection with an early morning armed robbery in Davenport.
Police believe Casey Dixon, Jr, 30, of Moline went into the The Kwik Shop on Telegraph Road around 1:13am Wednesday and stole cash and cigarettes from the store's clerk.
After a search , police were able to locate Dixon hiding under a car on West 1st Street. He is being held in the Scott County Jail on a $25,000 bond.
Police say their investigation is continuing and they anticipate additional arrests. Police also say they are investigating possible involvement in other recent similar type robberies.
