DAVENPORT, Iowa—
Iowa Governor Chet Culver isn't about to let Arnold Schwarzenegger bully his state. The California Governor, Schwarzenegger, is known for touting what his state has to offer, but Tuesday night he slammed Iowa telling a crowd at a conference that no one screams, "I can't wait to get to Iowa."

So today News 8's Chris Williams asked Iowa's very muscular, former college football playing, Governor for a response. Here's the exchange outside of Davenport's City Hall:

(CHRIS WILLIAMS) Q: "Did you hear about what Arnold Schwarzenegger said about the State of Iowa?" (GOV. CULVER) A: "I did and obviously I'm very disappointed, uh, Iowa is a great place. Great place to vacation. Great place to live and I don't think that he'll ever make the mistake of repeating that again." (CHRIS WILLIAMS) Q: "He's a big guy but I think we've got a Governor who can take him. Do you think…?" (GOV. CULVER) A: "Yeah, we can take him. We're ready. (CHRIS WILLIAMS) Q: "Do you think you can take him? You're a bigger guy than him? (GOV. CULVER) A: "Yeah we're ready to go." (CHRIS WILLIAMS) Q: "And you're all natural, I mean, you built it all natural. (GOV. CULVER) (Laughs) (CHRIS WILLIAMS) Q: He's admitted to using substances to get big, but you think…? (GOV. CULVER) A: "Iowa does it the right way." (CHRIS WILLIAMS) Q: "Do you think you could take Schwarzenegger?" (GOV. CULVER) A: "We can take Arnold, Absolutely... ha, ha, ha."

At the conference Governor Schwarzenegger went on to say that some states are known for just one thing, such as potatoes or oil. Florida, for example, is known for "the old people."
