EAST ST. LOUIS, Ill. (AP) — Police in East St. Louis say a 16-year-old boy was shot dead on Halloween.

Police on Sunday identified the teen as Rashaud Wilson of East St. Louis and they say that he was wanted for armed robbery. Authorities say police officers found Wilson outside a home with a head wound around 9 p.m. on Saturday.

Police say they are investigating the teen's death and did not recover a weapon.
