QUAD CITIES-- It's that time of year again! Daylight Savings Time ends early tomorrow morning at 2 AM, which means it's time to set your clocks back an hour. Get ready for an earlier sunrise and sunset.

Changing the clocks means we all get an "extra" hour of sleep tonight! If you're asking yourself what could be wrong with that, you're not alone. But the time switch takes a toll on your body, making you feel more tired.

But here are some easy things you can do to make the transition easier:

  1. Change all your clocks before you go to sleep. It seems simple, but doing so will make sure you don't accidentally have your sleep schedule thrown off because you forgot to reset the clock on, say, your coffeemaker.
  2. Tomorrow (Sunday), you'll want to skip drinking coffee and alcohol, because both will make your next night's sleep even more difficult.
  3. Tomorrow night, try to go to sleep at the same time you normally would, even though it's technically an hour earlier.
