COAL VALLEY, Ill. — It's that time of year again! Niabi Zoo will open its gates to trick-or-treaters once again for Boo at the Zoo alongside WQAD News 8 ahead of the official Halloween holiday.

The annual celebration of "Merry not Scary" Halloween festivities will be back on Saturday, Oct. 29 and Sunday, Oct. 30 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.

Quad City businesses will line the zoo's path showcasing their unique offerings and providing free treats to guests. You're advised to bring a smile and costume and enjoy everything the zoo has to offer.

Tickets are first come, first serve and are available online or at the admission gates when you arrive.

Face coverings are not required for admission, but are required for giraffe feedings and the Spineless Wonders exhibit.
