The new WQAD8+ app on Roku, Amazon Fire TV and Apple TV is completely free and gives you the opportunity to stream all of our newscasts and watch the latest news, weather and sports content.

Every newscast is there: "Good Morning Quad Cities," "News 8 at 5" and more are available as well as daily forecast updates from StormTrack8 and highlights from The Score.

But wait — there's more! You can also watch VERIFY This, What's the Deal? and Daily Blast Live.

  2. Search "WQAD"
  3. Select and download the free app
  4. Start watching!

Our Streaming App Platforms:

Once you open the app, you'll see the homepage that includes our 24/7 livestream. Depending on the time, it may be a livestream of the current newscast or it could be a replay of the most recent one. Look around to find previous documentaries or other popular content from News 8.

You can also see different categories at the top of the app, including News, Sports and Weather.

If you already have the app downloaded, it should update on its own. If not, head to your streaming devices settings to update!

Happy streaming!
